Direct Support Professional
​
Southwest Homes supports and empowers people living with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to achieve their goals and be valued members of the community. The work involves assisting participants in a residential and/or community program settings with planning, leisure activities, community engagement, and also helping with administrative support. Team members working in residential program settings also assist participants with personal care.

Requirements:
-
Able to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with program participants, and other team members
-
Strong teamwork skills, and excellent communication
-
Valid First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to complete within 6 months
-
Must have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License/Novice 2

Submission of a clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check is required upon hiring
-
Able to stand for several hours, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
Starting Pay: $18.59 - $19.58 per hour
